Our payment schedule
We issue your weekly invoice every Wednesday for all arrivals up to the previous Sunday. You should receive the payment in your account by Friday, depending on your bank’s processing times.
Please see below for more details on payments for GBP and non-GBP accounts.
If your property is priced in GBP
Invoices are issued on Wednesday, and payments typically reach your account by Friday. This timing is influenced by the bank’s BACS payment system and is outside our control.
If your property is not priced in GBP
Invoices are also issued on Wednesday, but payments can take up to 4 days to reach your account, depending on your bank’s processing times.
Example payment timelines
- For a guest checking in on Monday, the 3rd, Travelnest will issue the invoice on the following Wednesday, the 12th, and the payment should reach your account by Friday, the 14th.

- For a guest checking in on Friday, the 3rd, Travelnest will issue the invoice on the following Wednesday, the 8th, and the payment should appear in your account by Friday, the 10th.

Depending on your bank’s processing times, you should see the payment in your account a few days later—for UK accounts, this is usually by Friday.
Cancelled bookings
- If a guest cancels a booking and is entitled to a refund, we will deduct the refunded amount from your future payments. If there are no upcoming bookings, we may request a refund to balance the account.
- In some cases, you may still be entitled to a payment even if a guest cancels. Payments will be issued according to the cancellation policy you had set at the time the booking was made. To view or update your current policy, go to the Cancellation Policy section on your Properties page.
- The same rules apply if you request a cancellation after being paid. Please note, host cancellations are only allowed in exceptional circumstances. See our guide on booking cancellations for more details.
VAT
- For UK-based businesses, we deduct our commission plus VAT from each booking. If you are VAT registered, you can reclaim this VAT.
- A VAT invoice will be sent with each payment, showing your payout and a breakdown of the commission charged per booking.
