What should I do when I get a booking?

Modified on Tue, 28 Nov, 2023 at 1:05 PM

New booking received

When your property receives a booking, we'll send you a Booking Confirmation email and an SMS.

This will contain all the relevant booking information including:

  • Name of property.

  • Check-in/check-out dates.

  • Guest name & guest contact details.

  • Payment details

  • Any comments that guests have left for you.

Get in touch with your guest to introduce yourself as the property host and share arrival instructions, check-in times, directions to the property etc. Use our Guest welcome email template to create a friendly welcome email with all the information guests will be looking for.

Note: Add owners@travelnest.com
and bookings@travelnest.com to your Safe Senders/Contacts list so you receive these important communications from us

Booking is sent to Travelnest calendar

Calendars on all your chosen booking sites will be updated to prevent duplicate bookings. Check the details of each booking in the Bookings section of your Travelnest account.

Guest is given your contact details

Ensure your contact details are correct in your Travelnest account - this is essential so we can contact you. We also share your details with guests so they can contact you if they need to.

Booking reminder

We'll send you a Booking Reminder email 7 days before the check in date. If you have not already done so, get in touch with your guest to introduce yourself as the property host and share arrival instructions, check-in times, directions to the property etc.

Payment is made after arrival

Please ensure you have added your bank information, invoice email address and confirmed phone number in the Account section of your Travelnest account. Without this information, we are unable to pay you for bookings. Our payments guide explains when you'll be paid for bookings.
