How to add, re-order and delete photos

In this article, we explain how to add, re-order and delete photos of your listing in your Travelnest account. When adding photos to your account we recommend the following to ensure you get the most bookings possible:

At least 10 high-resolution photos (this is a requirement from the booking channels)
Uploading photos in landscape rather than portrait format (you can edit this in Travelnest)
Including external photos of your property
Adding photos of all rooms and key amenities in your property
A floor plan of your property

Doing this will significantly improve your content score on booking channels. Listings with good content scores perform better, attracting more interest and converting more bookings. For more photo tips, see our photo guide.

To access photos of your property, you'll need to log into your Travelnest account. Once you're logged in, select the property you want to manage, and then choose the "Photos" section. This is where you can add new photos, make changes to the ones you've already uploaded, or rearrange them.

At the top of this page you will see "Suggestions." This is where you'll find tasks to help you improve the photos for your listing.

To upload new photos, look for the upload button – it'll either be at the top right or bottom of the page. Click or tap it and choose the photos you want to add from your desktop or mobile device.

If you want to edit a photo you've already uploaded, find the one you want and click or tap the pencil icon. You'll be able to crop, rotate or make the photo landscape. Additionally, you can add a caption or assign a room and amenity that is featured. This can help your listing be more visible in search for channels that support it.

To change the order of your photos, it's easy. You can drag and drop them wherever you want them in the list. Or, if you prefer, you can click or tap the menu button on a photo and choose either "move up" or "move down" to switch it with the photo above or below it.

If you want to make a photo the main one that people see, select "Use as cover".

You can also make changes to multiple photos at once. Just check the boxes next to the ones you want and then choose what you want to do – like assigning a room, amenity or deleting them.

Once you’re done on the page, simply click or tap “Save changes” or, if you’d like to undo the changes you have made, click or tap on “Cancel”.
