Cleaning fees

Travelnest charges a standard commission on any cleaning fees as this cost is passed on to us by our partner channels. 


Updating your cleaning fee

 

  1. Log in to your Travelnest account. From your homepage, select the property for which you wish to add, update, or remove a cleaning fee.




2. As soon as you select the property, scroll down on the right-hand side to the 'Pricing and Availability' section, then click on 'Security Deposit and Cleaning Fee' option.




3. In this section, as illustrated below, you can add the cleaning fee. Tick the 'Use a Cleaning Fee' box to enter the amount you wish to receive for the entire stay, then click 'Save Changes'.




Travelnest Tip: A cleaning fee can put guests off from booking your property. Guests have to pay this additional fee on top of your nightly rate, so a large cleaning fee can result in fewer bookings. We recommend removing or lowering your cleaning fee where possible. Another option is to incorporate any cleaning fee into your nightly rate to attract more bookings.
