Creating a strong password
A strong password is key to maintaining account security. Here are some tips to ensure your password is both secure and easy to remember:
- Never share your password: Keep it private and avoid writing it down where others might see it.
- Use different passwords for different accounts: This ensures that if one account is compromised, your other accounts remain secure.
Use a passphrase: Combine several random words into a phrase. This makes it easier to remember and harder for hackers to guess.
- Include numbers, letters, and special characters: Use uppercase and lowercase letters, random numbers (avoid sequences like 1234), and special characters such as !@*&£$.
- Make it long: Aim for at least 12 characters. Longer passwords are much harder to crack.
Additional tips
- Consider a password manager: Tools like LastPass or KeePass can generate strong passwords and store them securely so you don’t have to remember each one.
- Don’t post passwords in plain sight: Avoid leaving them on sticky notes, notebooks, or anywhere visible. If you must write them down, hide them in a secure location.
Following these tips will help keep your Travelnest account secure and protect your personal information.
