How your calendar works across booking sites
At Travelnest, we work with a wide range of leading travel and booking platforms, including Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia, Vrbo, Holidu, and HomeToGo, as well as around 25 additional affiliate sites integrated into these major networks.
Once your property has been published through Travelnest, it will automatically appear on all the booking sites you’ve selected in your Travelnest account. Your Travelnest calendar will then synchronise with these platforms in real time.
This means that if you receive a booking from one of our partner sites (for example, Booking.com), your Travelnest calendar will automatically block those dates on all other connected sites where your property is listed.
This automatic synchronisation helps you manage your availability more efficiently and saves valuable time — you’ll only need to maintain one calendar, directly within Travelnest.
Connecting external calendars
In addition to the booking sites managed by Travelnest, you can also connect external calendars using our iCal synchronisation tool. This allows you to link other listings or platforms not managed by Travelnest, helping you keep all your bookings in one place and avoid double bookings.
You can connect external calendars from:
- Your own website
- An online booking system (such as SuperControl)
- A separate listing outside of Travelnest (for example, a direct Airbnb or Booking.com listing)
If you choose not to connect external calendars via iCal, it’s important to manually block any dates in your Travelnest calendar that are booked elsewhere. This ensures your availability remains accurate across all platforms.
Good to know
When we accept a booking for you through any booking site managed by Travelnest, that booking will take priority over any other unblocked or unrecorded reservations. Keeping your calendar fully up to date helps prevent issues and ensures guests have an accurate view of your availability.

Does Travelnest work with Instant Book?
Yes — Travelnest uses Instant Book for all listings on the booking sites we partner with. These platforms prioritise properties with Instant Book enabled, as it gives guests the confidence to book immediately without waiting for host approval.
When you list your property with Travelnest, Instant Book is automatically enabled across all connected platforms. This makes the booking process faster and smoother for both you and your guests, helping you secure more reservations.
What happens if I need to cancel a booking?
As outlined in our Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right to charge a £160 (plus VAT) cancellation fee per booking if a double booking occurs because your calendar was not synchronised or external dates were not manually blocked.
To avoid this, make sure your external calendars are properly connected via iCal, or manually block any unavailable dates in your Travelnest calendar.
