What does the Travelnest mobile app do?


The Travelnest mobile app is designed to assist you in managing your bookings and guest communication. Whether you're at home or on the go, it’s here to help make managing your vacation rental effortless. 


Please note, to use our mobile app, you must be a Travelnest customer.



How do I get the app?


You can easily download from the App Store (iOS and iPadOS) or Google Play store (Android), and login using your Travelnest details. 


 



How much is the Travelnest mobile app?


The Travelnest mobile app is available for free download from the App Store and Play Store. To utilise the features for managing your bookings you must be an existing Travelnest customer.



Which devices is the app available on?


All compatible iPhone, iPad, and Android devices.



Why do I need the mobile app?


We understand that hosting can be chaotic and unpredictable. A mobile app provides you with the flexibility to manage your bookings and guest communication while on the go, reducing the amount of time you need to spend in front of your laptop. Now, you can check details and message guests while picking up your kids from school or working out.



What if I'm offline or have no signal?


Even when you're disconnected or in areas with poor signal, our app has got your back. Our offline support ensures you can always view essential booking details and messages for those moments when you're not connected. 



How can I view my bookings?


Under the Bookings tab, you will find a comprehensive list of all your booking activities. This includes bookings that are currently in-progress, upcoming, as well as any cancelled bookings.


In addition, you have the ability to search your bookings. To do so, simply 'press' into the search bar and enter the name, channel, or months you wish to search by.


Please note, if you have multiple properties with Travelnest, you will see the respective nickname of each property alongside its corresponding booking.




How can I view more details about a booking?


To view booking details, 'press' on the booking. This will display the guest's account information, including the length of stay, check-in and check-out dates, number of guests, and a breakdown of the payment amount.


If you need to contact the guest, you can do so directly through the app by messaging or calling them.





How can I view my messages?


To view your message history, open the app and navigate to the 'Messages' tab. Simply scroll down to see a list of all your messages. If you want to view a conversation with a specific guest, just tap on their name. This will open the conversation view where you can read and respond to messages.



Please note that the 'Messages' section only displays messages from guests who have either booked or made an enquiry through Airbnb and Booking.com. In order to see these messages, you must have a property listed on either Airbnb or Booking.com via Travelnest.




How can I message my Airbnb and Booking.com guests?


Use the text field at the bottom of the screen to type your response. When you’re ready, tap the send button (indicated by an arrow) to deliver your message.

 




Can I send attachments in my messages?


Airbnb channel:


You can now easily send and receive attachments to confirmed Airbnb bookings directly in the Travelnest app or on the web. Allow guests to share their own attachments, making it easier for you to tailor their experience. Please note that you can't send or receive attachments to Airbnb enquiries.



Booking.com channel:


Right after booking, Booking.com guests can message you, but they can't send attachments. However, as a host, you're all set to send both messages and attachments for any confirmed bookings. And if a guest messages you first, you can also do this for unconfirmed bookings. Keep in mind that receiving attachments from Booking.com guests isn't possible due to limitations from the Booking.com channel. 


If you need to share images or documents, tap the “+” icon next to the message field. You can choose to:

  • Add photos from your library: Share pictures directly from your device.
  • Choose files: Send other types of files that may be useful for your guest.




How can I archive my messages?


Unfortunately, this option is not currently available. However, we're working on it and it will be available soon.



How can I get support if I need it?

 

You can access all our support resources directly from the app! Head to the 'Support' section where you'll find helpful guides, important updates, and our host helper. Plus, you can chat live with our customer support team.



How can I update my personal information?

 

Navigate to the 'Account' section. Our app will pre-authenticate and direct you to your personal details. Here, you can easily update your personal and payment details, or even reset your password whenever you want. 



Does the Travelnest app have a dark mode? 


Yes, our app is compatible with dark mode, adapting to your device preferences, whether bright days or dark nights. 





What happens when I click on a messaging push notification?


As soon as you click on a messaging push notification, our app will direct you to the messaging screen, where you can view all your messages.



What happens when I click on a booking push notification?


As soon as you click on a booking push notification, our app will direct you to the booking screen, where you can view all your bookings.
