How to edit your listing details using the mobile app

Managing your property details on the go is easy with the Travelnest mobile app. While not all features are fully available yet, you can currently edit key information such as your property’s headline, description, and nickname directly within the app. Here’s how you can make those changes:


How to access your property details


Open the Travelnest Mobile App

  • Start by launching the Travelnest app on your mobile device.

Navigate to the Home Screen

  • Upon opening the app, you'll land on the home screen. Here, you'll see a list of your properties under the ''Your Properties'' section.

Select your property

  • Tap on the property you want to edit. This will take you to the property screen where you can manage various settings for that listing.

Editing your property details

Once on the property screen, you’ll see a list of settings that you can change. At present, you can only modify the headline, description, and nickname directly within the app.



Editing the Headline and Description

Tap on “Headline and Description”: This option allows you to update the headline and description that appear on your property’s listing.


  • Edit Headline
    • After tapping “Headline and Description,” you’ll be presented with an option to edit the headline.
    • You can either manually edit the headline in the text box provided or use the automatic generation feature to create a headline for you.
    • When you're happy with the headline, save your changes

  • Edit Description
    • Similarly, to edit the description, tap on the description area.
    • A text box will appear where you can update the description of your property. Once done, save your changes.


Important note: Please be aware that not all booking sites use the description you provide. Booking sites like TripAdvisor and Booking.com often generate their own descriptions to ensure consistency, accuracy, and optimisation for search engines. They use the property information you provide to create descriptions that fit their style and format, which helps maintain a uniform user experience across their platform. Additionally, this approach allows them to highlight specific features or amenities that they know are important to their users.  



Changing the Property Nickname

  • Access the nickname edit option
    • In the top right corner of the property screen, you’ll find more options. Tap on it, and one of the main options will be to “Edit Nickname.”


  • Edit the nickname:
    • You can change the nickname of your property here, which is how your property will be identified within the Travelnest app.
    • After making your changes, save the new nickname.



Accessing Additional Features


For other settings, such as pricing, photos, and availability, selecting these options within the app will redirect you to your device’s default browser, where you can make further adjustments through the Travelnest web app.


Important Note: The features currently available for editing in the mobile app are part of an ongoing beta. This means that while you can update certain aspects of your property, many other features are still under development and will be added in future updates.


By following these steps, you can easily manage and update your property’s key details, ensuring your listing stays current and appealing to potential guests.
